Young Democrats in Orange County

OCDC is proud to sponsor a club for Young Democrats the the Orange County High School called "The Youth." Chartered in 2020, the members of this group of budding activists have proven themselves to be hard workers dedicated to working for our candidates and building interest in democratic principles among their peers. Among their activities over the past 2 years:

• Organizing a Unity Block Party at Veteran's Park in November 2020
• Serving as Election Day volunteers in 2020 and 2021
• Working as canvass and lit drop volunteers in 2020 and 2021
• Speaking at School Board meetings
• Helping at voter registration and voter education events
• Staffing our OCDC booth at community events
• Organizing against displays of the Confederate flag at school
• Serving on OCDC committees and assisting with website and social media management
